The Prosser Community Volunteers program will expand the current services offered by Jubilee Ministry. It will provide opportunities for individuals from churches, civic organizations, schools, the hospital, and the community to work more closely together.

The purpose of the community service program is to:

  • Promote and develop cooperation between Prosser community members and organizations to engage in and promote “Christ-like” service, to address situations where individuals, families, organizations, or our community need a helping hand.

  • Increase the number of volunteers available to administer current Jubilee Ministry programs.

How Does It Work?

Volunteers will work together on projects that have been screened and approved by the leadership team. The screening criteria used to evaluate potential projects and recipients have been developed by the “leadership team” chosen from the volunteers themselves. Examples of projects would include but not be limited to community and individual service projects, food drives, helping the needy, and building ramps for handicapped people.
